The miniPATCH-L1 is a best selling CubeSat GPS Antenna with timeless design, properties and performance. Used on various satellites, from basic CubeSats up to complex multi-kilogram missions. The module carries a mounting bracket acting as a groundplane which naturally equalize the antenna radation pattern. Optimal performance is achieved once the miniPATCH-L1 is fixed using countersunk screws.

Each GPS receiver is extremelly sensitive to EMI/EMC environment on the satellite. Check that the GPS functionality is not disturbed by the satellite subsystems (Power Supplies, MPPT Controllers, Magnetorquers, Reaction Wheels, transmitters, receivers with local oscillators, all the PWM driven electronics,...) well before the spaceflight. The Signal-to-Noise Ratio (SNR) Test can be performed easily with the fully functional Engineering Model of the antenna anytime during the whole satellite development and testing campaign.

It is also ready to be connected to the Flight Model of the GPS Receiver. Red Remove Before Flight finish will remind you to replace it with the Flight Model of the antenna before the launch.
