The 3.3V @ 30mW Ultra Low Power, low voltage solid state radiation detector replaces old, vintage, bulky, high-voltage Geiger-Müller tubes in a matchbox-sized form factor. The module provides data over the UART interface. The easy-to-parse format with ASCII lines are terminated with CR+LF and contains human-readable values.

The piDOSE-DCD/Evaluation Kit is the Full Set of Hardware making the development and system integration of the piDOSE-DCD unit Quick & Easy job!
You can utilize the Eval Kit PCB to study the mechanical mounting, work on the onboard software development and learn how to interface the unit with the core of the satellite.
Connect it with the associated FTDI USB-to-Serial cable and run any serial termial software to get your first messages from the sensor in minutes with no need for soldering!
