Are you looking for a high gain CubeSat GNSS Antenna supporting both GPS and GALILEO constellation receiver equipment (GPS-L1, GALILEO-E1)? The piPATCH-L1E1 is a High Quality, High Gain Antenna with low noise, RF filters and uniform radiation pattern intended for a Z+/- CubeSat wall. The antenna is ideal for Nadir/Zenith oriented satellites such as ground-scanning telescope missions, ensuring the orientation towards the GNSS zenith with a Z-face.
To get the maximum available pattern homogeneity, the Z+/- side of the CubeSat structure is typically the best place to put the GPS antenna for Nadir scanning optical telescope missions. Centered best-in-class radiation (reception) efficiency ceramic patch antenna element, with the best gain-in-size package is providing the best possible hemispherical pattern and resulting SNR readings in the GNSS receiver, whilst still fitting the tight Z+/- mount CubeSat envelope even in deployer slots with no direct access to the Tuna Can spring.
The module size of 98x98 mm additionally gives the antenna the best possible RF groundplane electrically insulated from the CubeSat structure to prevent grounding loops in the power supply structure.
Connect the RF Coaxial cable with DC power from 2.7 to 5.5V and start to receive first signals from GPS and Galileo constellation with your GNSS Receiver!

Each GNSS receiver is extremelly sensitive to EMI/EMC environment on the satellite. Check that the GNSS functionality is not disturbed by the satellite subsystems (Power Supplies, MPPT Controllers, Magnetorquers, Reaction Wheels, transmitters, receivers with local oscillators, all the PWM driven electronics,...) well before the spaceflight. The Signal-to-Noise Ratio (SNR) Test can be performed easily with the fully functional Engineering Model of the antenna anytime during the whole satellite development and testing campaign.
It is also ready to be connected to the Flight Model of the GNSS Receiver. Red Remove Before Flight finish will remind you to replace it with the Flight Model of the antenna before the launch.
